How to reduce the wear of impact crusher blow bar

Due to the large crushing ratio of the impact crusher, the wear of its wearing parts is particularly prominent, even bringing frequent downtime maintenance. Among them, the blow bar is the main operation component of counterattack breaking. The labor intensity in the application is relatively large. It directly impacts and touches the material, so the wear is difficult to avoid. Therefore, reducing the wear of the blow bar is the key to solving impact crusher wear.

A. Factors of the blow bar wear

a. linear velocity

The linear velocity is the working parameter that has the greatest impact on the blow bar wear. The linear velocity directly affects the impact energy exerted by the

blow bar on the material and the size of the crushing wall, and plays a decisive role in the particle size of the product. At too high a linear velocity, the material cannot enter the impact zone (or the depth of entry is very small), at which time it is violently worn with the end of the blow bar. Foreign research data shows that the abrasion of the blow bar is directly proportional to the first to second power of the linear velocity.

b. Processing capacity and discharge gap

When the processing capacity is increased, the particle size of the product will become coarse, the crushing ratio will decrease, and the unit pure wear of the blow bar will also decrease. On the contrary, the unit pure wear of the blow bar will increase. Changing the size of the discharge gap can also change the thickness of the product size to a certain extent, so it also has a certain impact on the wear of the blow bar.

c. Material properties

When the hardness of the material is too high, the moisture content is too high, the block size is too large to exceed the equipment's bearing scale, it will inevitably cause the plate blow bar to form different degrees of wear. If the feed particle size is too large, the impact energy to the blow bar will increase, the water content will be too high, and the water will chemically react with the blow bar to corrode the blow bar.

B. Measures to reduce the wear of blow bar

In addition, it is necessary to select the appropriate type of impact blasting and operating parameters according to their actual production scale and requirements. b. Choose suitable materials

The material of the bar blow bar is usually high manganese steel, which is suitable for crushing medium-hardness materials, such as basalt, diabase, biotite, granite, etc. In practice, it must be fed according to the corresponding parameters, and the material characteristics Meet the requirements of the equipment.

c. Surfacing cemented carbide

After the blow bar is worn to a certain extent, it is also an effective method to surfacing cemented carbide on the worn surface. As can be seen from the figure, in the thickness direction of the blow bar, when the blow bar is worn to the point b´ Unit pure wear is minimal.
